About the Travel Planner position

Key to the World Travel® is looking for highly motivated people with a passion for​ travel and an inherent love of all things Disney to join our team of experienced​ travel planners. We provide comprehensive training and one-on-one mentoring (no previous experience required) to candidates who possess the knowledge and passion for Disney Destinations and exemplary service that we require of our travel planners. We also provide ongoing support, professional development and a variety of benefits to our actively selling team members.

Travel Planner responsibilities are:

  • Providing a full service, concierge level experience for clients by managing all aspects of their vacation

  • Paying attention to details

  • Marketing in order to find new clients

  • Communicating with clients frequently using a variety of platforms

  • Actively monitoring promotions to apply to your clients' vacation

  • Managing payments for clients' vacations and making sure all balances are paid on time.

  • Assisting clients while they are traveling if they run into a travel related emergency

Travel Planner desired requirements are:

  • At least 5 visits to Disney Destinations, with at least one in the past 12 months

  • Expert-level knowledge of Disney Destinations

  • Highly motivated

  • Comfortable with technology and online research

  • Self-directed

  • Active user of social media

  • Comfortable with sales and marketing

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Effective communication skills
